My video “Big Idea #4 ( art has always been more than just painting)” has been selected for exhibition in the 2008 Rocky Mountian Biennial at the Fort Collins Muesum of Contemporary Art. The exhibit was juried by the Denver weekly WESTWORD’s Arts Critic Michael Paglia. It features work from 42 artists from the Rocky Mountain Region.
Opening Reception and award Ceremony for FCMOCA member and Artist Only is OCTOBER 2, 2008 6-8pm at the FCMOCA 201 S. College Ave. Ft. Collins CO. The exhibit runs OCT. 3, 2008 – JAN 2, 2009.

I just got a call from International Proto-Journalist Bruce Uplink, and it seems that he’s finally landed another assignment. Bruce will be the voice of the Talking Birds Daily coverage via the Telephone Exchange of the A Thing About Machines Fair in Coventry UK, September, 19-21, 2008. His concise semi-factual daily reports will make one feel as if they were actually there, just by dialing the phone. Local phone rate apply.
This came as a bit of good luck to Bruce as things have not been so great since his last assignment ( which would of been his BIG BREAK with a major News Corp.) fell through when he was arrested by Homeland Security at Ronald Raygun Airport in DC while on his way to Bagdad Iraq.
Seems he thought it funny to shout “Why do you think I have a bomb?” and “If I had a bomb I wouldn’t tell you.” while trying to get through security. Which sent him on a little vacation to Super Max in Canon City, CO. He’s just lucky he did get an all expenses paid trip to Gitmo.
